2025 Yeongdong World Korean Traditional Music Expo Opening Ceremony The Resonance of Yeongdong Rises to the Sky

We raise the magnificent curtain on the **2025 Yeongdong World Korean Traditional Music Expo**,
which will color the world with Korean traditional music (Gukak).

  • Location Yeongdong-gun Stadium (Special Opening Ceremony Stage)
  • Attendance Around 20,000 people, including key guests, Gukak officials, and Expo visitors

Pre-Events

  • Street Parade (16:00 ~ 17:30)
    • Street parade featuring CIOFF participating countries and performing groups
    • Parade Route Yeongdong High School → Yeongdong Station → Jungang Rotary (Stop Performance) → Yeongdong 1st Bridge (Machadari)
  • Black Eagles Air Show (18:10 ~ 18:20)
    • Air show by the Black Eagles Aerobatic Team

Pre-Ceremony Performance

  • Flag Raising of CIOFF Participating Countries (18:30 ~ 18:35)
    • Entry and formation of flags of CIOFF participating countries, following the street parade
  • Celebration Performance by CIOFF Participating Countries (18:35 ~ 19:00)
